Trust and moderation
FindMyDryCleaners reader review policy
Reviews submitted directly to FindMyDryCleaners are moderated first-party submissions. They are displayed separately from Google ratings and Google review text.
Who may submit
A reviewer must describe a dry-cleaning or garment-care service they personally purchased or received at the named location. Owners, employees, contractors, competitors, and their immediate representatives may not review a business with which they are affiliated.
What happens after submission
- The submission enters a private moderation queue.
- Automated checks flag duplicates, links, unusual velocity, and possible affiliation; flags do not publish.
- A moderator may approve, reject, or request further review. Nothing appears publicly by default.
- Only approved, unflagged review text is eligible to appear on a profile or in first-party review structured data.
Optional private evidence
A reviewer may attach a receipt, order tag, visit photo, or PDF for moderation. Evidence files are stored outside public routes, are never embedded in the profile, and are not shared with the business. A public review photo is handled separately and must receive its own approval.
Content standards
- Be specific, relevant, and based on first-hand experience.
- Do not include private personal data, threats, discriminatory content, impersonation, promotional links, or unsupported accusations.
- Do not offer or accept compensation for a favorable rating.
- A review may be rejected or removed when its authenticity, relevance, rights, or safety cannot be established.
Business responses
A verified owner may submit one factual and respectful response. Responses are moderated before publication and do not replace or alter the customer review.
Corrections and disputes
Use the “Report a problem” control on the relevant profile. We preserve a moderation audit trail and may change a decision when new evidence supports it.
