Privacy
What the site collects, where it appears, and why.
FindMyDryCleaners collects information when you choose to create an account, contact the directory, submit a review or listing issue, claim a business, or request an estimate or booking. This page describes the application’s current data flows without promising a fixed retention period.
Information you submit
- Accounts: name, email, a salted password hash, saved cleaners, and update preferences.
- Contact messages: name, email, topic, message, and an optional page URL.
- Reader reviews: display name, private email, rating, review text, optional visit month, an optional public photo, and optional private receipt, order-tag, or visit evidence.
- Listing reports and owner claims: the affected business, correction or claim details, contact information supplied for follow-up, and pending factual or media updates.
- Estimate or booking requests: contact details, garments, timing and fulfillment preferences, notes, and optional photos. The form requires consent before a request can be routed.
What may become public
Approved reader reviews may display the submitted display name, rating, title, review text, visit month, and a separately approved public photo. Private review email addresses and private receipt, order-tag, or visit evidence are never served through a public route. Verified business updates may change public listing facts after moderation. Contact messages, account credentials, claim contact details, and request contact details are not published through their submission forms.
How information is used
Submitted information supports authentication, saved lists, moderation, factual corrections, ownership verification, customer-request routing, abuse prevention, and responses to questions. The application keeps moderation and owner-response records and stores cryptographic fingerprints of network identifiers for rate limiting and duplicate-abuse checks. Estimate and booking contact details may be shared with participating cleaners only after the requester provides the consent required by that form.
Maps, analytics, and service delivery
The site loads Google Maps features on map-enabled pages and uses Google Analytics with advertising personalization and Google signals disabled in the site configuration. Hosting, security, and analytics services may process ordinary request and device information needed to deliver and measure the site.
Storage and retention
The application stores operational account and submission records. It does not currently implement or publish one automatic retention period for every record type. Do not submit sensitive personal information that is unnecessary for the request.
Questions about a submitted record
Use the privacy contact form and identify the account, review, claim, request, or message as specifically as possible. A request does not automatically remove information that must remain in a moderation, abuse-prevention, or factual correction record.
